With academic accomplishments in Mathematics, Tamil, English, and a Doctorate in Tamil, he chose to become an educator and institution-builder rather than seek employment.
His passion for women’s education led to the establishment of the school in 1984, which later grew into one of the region’s most respected educational institutions. He has received recognition, including the Best Administrator Award from the Governor of Tamil Nadu. A gifted orator in both Tamil and English, he motivates students to pursue purposeful goals and inspires faculty to maintain high educational standards. Er. M. S. Vivekanandan, Secretary of Sri Swamy Vivekananda Educational Trust, is a dynamic second-generation leader who oversees the institution’s administration with dedication and efficiency. As a young technocrat with qualifications in Engineering and Management, he brings modern ideas, strategic planning, and professional discipline to school operations.
He attends to every academic and administrative matter with a hands-on approach and ensures that student and faculty needs are addressed promptly. Tmt. S. Premavathi, Trustee of Sri Swamy Vivekananda Educational Trust, plays a vital role in promoting women’s welfare and empowerment through education. As the wife of the Founder, she shares his deep commitment to social upliftment and actively contributes to the growth and functioning of the institution. With years of experience managing girls’ hostels, she ensures that residential students receive personal care, emotional support, and a safe environment.
She is particularly passionate about helping economically backward girl students and has been instrumental in offering scholarships and fee concessions to deserving learners. Her compassionate nature, attention to student well-being, and dedication toward improving female literacy have made her a respected figure within the school community. Dr. M. S. Vijayanand, a distinguished medical professional and Trustee of the Trust, brings his expertise, compassion, and commitment to the holistic development of students. As the elder son of the Founder, he upholds the institution’s values while contributing significantly to academic quality and student welfare. Trained under renowned gastro surgeon Dr. Mohammed Ali, he frequently visits the campus to provide guidance and motivation to students, especially those appearing for board examinations.
His sessions on health, discipline, and exam preparedness are highly valued by learners. He also offers medical support and counselling to hostel students, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being. With his blended experience in medicine and education, he strengthens the institution’s mission of nurturing disciplined, confident, and healthy young women.
